Strength (STR) is a statistic in EQOA primarily associated with physical damage.
Strength, along with Dexterity, is a factor in the calculation used to determine the physical damage caused by the melee swing of a player character.
It is generally believed that Strength contributes to increasing the maximum possible range of one's melee swing. For instance, at 100 STR, a player's maximum damage may be 250. Increasing one's STR to 200 could result in that player's maximum damage per swing increasing to 350.
Strength does not contribute to the low end of the player's damage range, nor does it contribute to the consistency of one's damage.
